How to Join
There are 3 forms of subscription:
Full member subscription
All of the benefits of membership (see below). £24.00 per annum.
Concessionary subscription
For those who live in the UK and could not otherwise afford to join. All of the benefits of membership (see below). £12.00 per annum.
Internet subscription
For anyone who wants to connect with GreenSpirit through the internet
only (paperless) with all the benefits of membership (see
below). All papers such as the Journal, Newsletter, Membership Directory,
Subscription Renewal forms will be sent by email instead of by post. £9.00
per annum.
Online subscriptions are processed through a secure server provided by RSM2000 Ltd and supported by Charity Technology Trust.
The legal name of GreenSpirit (as registered with the Charity Commission) is "The Association for Creation Spirituality" - registration number 1045532.
All subscriptions are in UK Pounds Sterling. You can pay your subscription online from anywhere in the world with an approved credit/debit card. For currency conversion rates, click here.
GreenSpirit and GreenSpirit Books do not share your personal data including email addresses with anyone without your permission. You can change your subscription preferences at anytime.
To pay your subscription by standing order from a bank in the UK, click here for a form which you can print off and send with your membership form.
The benefits of joining GreenSpirit are:
GreenSpirit Journal
By joining, you will receive the GreenSpirit Journal 3 times a year. The GreenSpirit Journal is visually delightful and brings to life the passion and vision of the GreenSpirit movement with contributions that engage mind, body and spirit. It also has a section for news of local groups and events in the UK.
GreenSpirit Newsletter
You will also receive the GreenSpirit Newsletter "GreenSpirit Graffiti" 3 times a year. The newsletter focuses on events and current news.
Events
You will be kept informed of our events. We often have our popular annual gatherings in the autumn and there are some local groups around the country. We also run other major events from time to time; discounts are available to GreenSpirit members for some of these events.
Social Networking Website
You can join the GreenSpirit social networking website. Have you heard of Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Bebo etc.? Our social networking website is private and password protected for the use of GreenSpirit members.
Membership Directory
You can, if you wish, be included in the GreenSpirit Membership Directory which contains names and addresses of other members in your area in the UK.
Email Information List
You can join the GreenSpirit email list which keeps you informed of GreenSpirit news and events. To be included in the list, please tick the appropriate box in the membership form and remember to include your email address on the form.
Email Discussion List
The GreenSpirit Email Discussion list is a group of people who discuss eco-spirituality themes with some reference to the GreenSpirit movement. Once you are a member of GreenSpirit, you can join the list.
Members Area
Members have access to a password protected area on the website that contains past Journals, Newsletters, Annual Gathering minutues, the constitution and the membership directory
GreenSpirit Books
GreenSpirit Books supplies books, tapes and videos on Creation Spirituality themes by post You will receive a booklist when you join GreenSpirit and you can also browse the books on the website at www.greenspirit.org.uk/books. Voting Rights
Standard and concessionary rate members can vote at the Annual General Meeting.
