This book opens with words from the Tao Te Ching “He who knows he has enough is rich” … and then continues … “We have some evolving to do. And quickly. We need to develop a sense of ‘enoughness.’”
This is a great book. John Naish has an enjoyable sense of humour, and of the ridiculous, thus transforming a book which could be a gloomy criticism of the idiocy of the human race, into one which engenders hoots of mirth, and gentle chuckles.
For this reason too, it is also a book that the converted can both enjoy and learn from, as well as recommending to the unconverted, without feeling too self-righteously ‘holier than thou’!
The chapters: Enough … Information, Food, Stuff, Work, Options, Happiness, Growth, and Never Enough, are well investigated and researched.
Very definitely a GreenSpirit book.
